| Saturday the 7th of June 2003, we went out to sea earlier than the last few days as a storm was forecasted for the weekend...
Indeed the northwesterly wind started to pick up mid-morning and in the early afternoon, the sea became choppy... time to go back to shore... We observed seven sharks today... including one very small, between 150 - 180 cm total length (TL)... Considering that White Sharks are born at around 120 - 150 cm TL, this sharks was a very young animal. Great sighting! Michelle's day to handle the bait today... |

| After a couple more days of stormy and wet winter time, the weather and sea finally settled... On Tuesday the 10th of June, we managed to launch Lamnidae, the White Shark Trust research boat. Calm day without wind, great visibility and 14 different White Sharks! Great day! |  |

Suraida was our "Bait Mistress" and she did a fine job today - we did not lose a single bait today! On the tower, Lenny was our Watcher along with Lori recording shark markings. Michelle was taking identification photographs along with MichaelS, and MichaelU was recording shark presence times. |
