| My stay in Gansbaai.
If you’re visiting this website, I’m sure that like me you are a shark fanatic. So I’ll not tell you how fantastic it is to work with this animal… and after all why not! Every morning, I had the same desire: to IMMEDIATELY be at see to have my first white shark.
Being so close and to work with this predator is an unique experience in a lifetime. Above all when you are on the bait line and you can feel all the power of this animal. But the White Shark Trust project is not only white sharks, it’s also living with Michael and Tracey. I had really good fun with these guys. I miss the atmosphere of the house, the “under the belt jokes” we had on the boat waiting for sharks and, of course, drinking some South African red wine with Tracey during the BBQ nights.
During my stay we had some days of bad weather which gave me the opportunity to visit the area and enjoy the wonderful landscapes of South Africa, do some shopping in Hermanus, see some wildlife and pet the cheetahs, do bungee jumping from the highest bridge of S.A, try to surf in Jeffrey’s Bay and last but not least climbing up Table Mountain and see cape town.
If you are hesitating, stop thinking and fly to Gansbaai. Living there is an unforgettable experience with unforgettable people.
