Tuesday the 13th of April 2004... Another splendid day at sea... Warm day without a single cloud in the sky... flat ocean... and 12 different White Sharks! Most Sharks remained deep and shy, but our second Shark stayed around the boat for well over three hours, sometimes disappearing for a little while, but always coming back... Very nice day! |

Dyer Island Cruises is the Whale Watching operator east of Danger Point. Out of the Whale season (June - December) he takes clients on Seal and Bird tours around Dyer Island. They usually take a tour around the Shark boats to show their clients some White Sharks also. Yvonne, guide for Dyer Island Cruises, took the picture below yesterday... |

On Thursday the 15th of April 2004, we were invited on board Barracuda by Shark Diving Unlimited. What a contrast to the last few days... Rain, rain and more rain... and a cold wind... Quite an awful day to be at sea! But... we observed 12 different White Sharks today! And it seems like we will be stuck on shore for a few days due to some more bad weather... We observed a Cape Fur Seal predation also! |
