The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Timo SECKLER (Ellenberg, Germany), Graham HORTON (Milton Keynes, England) and Greg WRIGHT (Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA)

Andy Brandy CASAGRANDE IV is living in Fishoek on the shores of False Bay where he is assisting Alison KOCK (South African Museum / Save Our Seas) with her research project at Seal Island for the next few months.

Chris MILNES (Grantham, Lincolnshire, England), one of our old assistants from 2003 and 2004, has also come back to visit and is also volunteering for the White Shark Trust as a friend and guest. Chris' parents Peter and Penny are visiting South Africa for two weeks at the end of July.

Our friend Trey SNOW (Wilmington, North Carolina, USA) returned as a guest on the 18th of July to Gansbaai and the White Shark Trust following a couple of months of travelling through Africa from Cape Town to Nairobi in Kenya.

Our assistants have returned from their assisting experience in Mossel Bay, and we were once again invited to board Barracuda (Shark Diving Unlimited) on Sunday the 31st of July 2005... We observed seven different White Sharks, among whom, our crazy friend 'Springer'... Nice day (any seasickless day is a good day from now on), but still with large swell...
Peter and Penny Milnes, Chris' parents were experiencing their son's passion up close and personal for the first time... They were also invited the next day to experience the Whales from Whale Whisperer (Dyer Island Cruises). Our assistants Greg and Graham also went into the Shark cage to admire these Sharks in pristine underwater conditions...
