The evening had been organised by Christian Florescu along with the management and staff of Bailiffscourt Hotel & Health Spa. The main focus was to host a 5 star event in aid of the Trust. Tickets went on sale one month prior to the event at £15 per head the event was in strong competition with other events also being staged at the hotel over the summer, however the evening was a sell out proving that the interest in our oceans and marine life still represent a crowd puller.

The 30 guests were greeted upon arrival with a refreshing glass of pimms and light nibbles delicatly prepared by the head chef. Chris opened the evening with a film on the White Shark Trust and proceeded into a personal encounter talk about his experiences of working with White Sharks. There then followed a slide show of photographs taken by Micheal Scholl accompanied by fine classical music played by Roger Clayden.

The evening concluded with a charity auction which raised £325 for the Trust. Due to the huge success of this event the Trust is currently planning a follow up event at the end of the year (more details will follow).
